HEALTHY SELF LOVE GIFTS FOR THE ENTIRE MONTH
I really don't get it. I was out to eat the other night and they had this little plastic thing on the table about their Valentine's dinner menu. After reading the menu I thought "Now, am I going to feel in the mood for love after eating that menu?" No way.
First off, an 8 course meal would leave me feeling totally stuffed. Getting sexy would be the last thing on my mind and after eating all that sugar I would feel bloated, cranky and spaced out.
This year find alternative ideas to celebrate (self) love month.
I'm taking my husband to a restorative yoga class on SL-day. Yup that's right, lay around on bolsters and blocks and connect with ourselves.
Another idea I have is to take a Qi-Gong class together.
Last year we went rock climbing together. That really got my heart pumping!
Remember whether you are solo, with a partner or family this is an opportunity to open you heart! Stretch it a bit. What's holding you back?
Make this month about taking risks to open your heart.
Maybe you'll find something new that you are hungry for...
Here are some other ideas to chew on:
Partner yoga
Acro yoga
Go dancing
Tell someone you love them
Tell someone you love them that you wouldn't normally tell
Buy a journal and do a daily appreciation entry
Cook dinner for yourself, friends or family
Have a potluck
Get rubbed- massages are awesome
Go the "Northern California way" take a Tantra class or go hot tubbin'
Don't have a hot tub…Take a bath- solo or with others **wink**
And remember it's not just on February 14th, SELF LOVE is the entire month!
